Can I suggest, for the time being anyway, to use Youtube as much as possible. I know it's almost impossible to keep up with, but it leaves the most permanent record of communications. More importantly, it will help to promote the videos and we really need a lot of that right now.

Hi Maddison,

I realized I started posting on your wall yesterday without properly introducing myself. I'm René, but for most of my friends online I'm better known as BrightSilence. I live in the netherlands and after I dropped out of college after 3 years I now work at a bank. I' kind of a geek, interested in programming, puzzles and of course videos.

That's why your videos caught my attention. Actually it caught the attention of quite a few people :). I thought you'd wonder by now who they all are. A lot of these people know each other. We met online and noticed we had common interests, so we stuck around. It seems like by some weird coincidence your videos seem to contain 2 of those interests. They're interesting videos to start with (you and Adam seem to have chemistry that works on video) and it seems now that there's a mystery to solve too. Although I realize that you just want to get the pigeons back to who they belong to, some might get a little over excited about a challenging puzzle. However, we are all friendly people, I've known these people for a while and if there's any group that can help you find the rightful owners, it's this group.

I just hope we didn't overwhelm you by jumping on your story all at once.

Anyway, I do have a little update. When Adam posted the note that was sent with the pigeons, some of us noticed there is morse code on the back. Weird right? I don't know what that means, but it might help you find out who the pigeons belong to. People have been working on decoding this, but for now it just turns out to be random numbers. Luckilly this crowd never gives up. I'm sure we/they will find something more useful to you.

So that's something about me and us as a group. Hope you don't mind the spam. Keep the videos coming and if you are interested to meet a few of us to talk. We've made a chatroom on IRC for people trying to decode the morse. It's on the freenode network channel: #maddison. Anyway I hope we can help and I'd love to see you around.

First: I'm a new viewer to your videos and absolutely love them! You and Adam are extremely funny people. I hope that everything is going well with your projects. I suppose you're in a rush since the camera's due back on Friday. Maybe if someone went down there and talked to Jullian, he'd let you keep it a bit longer. Just a thought!

Anyway, I don't mean to alarm you, but I think you should be concerned about the pigeons that randomly arrived on your doorstep. I know that it just seems like a funny coincidence, but the fact is that some things just don't add up. Someone just -randomly- had your address and -randomly- sent you pigeons? It just seems very fishy to me, and I think you should be careful until you know more. Maybe you could let a pigeon free with a note to have whoever receives it call you? It would at least let you know if the pigeons know to track a location; then you could investigate from there.

I wish I could help more, but I'm way up in Pennsylvania, so there's not much I can do in-person. I just want you to be safe. =)

Oh, I don't think you're in any immediate danger, and I don't want to alarm you. But this is pretty big for it to be just a "mistake." I mean, it wasn't just a messed up address - your name was on the package too, right? Someone intended for you to receive those pigeons, and I think it's worthwhile for you to find out why.

I just want you to be safe. You never can be too careful in this messed up world; the pigeons could be carrying some sort of infectious disease. (Probably not, since they apparently went through the vet's office first, but there's a possibility.) Perhaps if you uploaded the note that came with the pigeons, you could get a few more eyes looking at it. And you could make a How To video for it! "How to upload a creepy note that came with uninvited pigeons!" ;)

I'm guess I'm just a little freaked by the pigeons--I had some weird dreams about them last night, so I'm just a little nervous for you. (Of course, it could've just been that I had just watched The Birds, the Hitchcock film.)

I noticed in your Mario Kart Vlog that you were wearing a ring on your pointer finger on your right hand. Usually rings that are worn on odd fingers like that have interesting stories; I'm vaguely reminded of claddagh rings. Anyway, I was just curious if there was a fun story behind the ring (or not!).

I've enjoyed your recent videos a lot. I hope all the pigeon craziness clears up soon so you can focus on your classes and work.

Major in theatre and minor in communications. or the other way around. Alot of theatre kids are in comm over here and visaversa. It is also good to have a little bit of both in a degree so when you graduate you will have know how in a broad range of things thus broadening your marketabilty for a job.
